EXPERIENCE
I earned my CHt (Certified Hypnotherapist) from Hypnotherapists Union Local 472 after graduating in 2010 with honors from the Hypnosis Motivation Institute in Tarzana, CA. This intensive experience served as a portal into realms of energy medicine and healing possibilities that continue to excite me. Hypnotherapy, Reconnective Healing, the Emotion Code, Past Life Regressions, and Intuitive Readings are all ways that I help people to loosen their conditioning and restore flow in their systems.
Various life experiences prepared me for starting my own healing practice. As a volunteer, I showed up at the Juvenile Hall in Sylmar California, which provided me the opportunity for understanding humanity at a deep rewarding level. Juvenile Hall and its residents helped forge my spiritual path of deep love and compassion. Through Volunteers for Seniors, a program that keeps seniors living quality lives in their own homes, I learned that youthfulness is a state of mind and that regardless of age differences, we share common joys, fears and humor. Eldering more than ‘getting old’ is a path I am interested in.
A BA in Theater Arts from Cal State University Northridge led me to 25 years of stage acting through which I developed emotional awareness, explored life from another person's point of view, reaped the rewards of collaborating with others, and participated in the transformational healing power of storytelling. A 14-year working relationship with a family of feng shui masters opened me up to the vibrational laws of the universe that make shift and change possible. Most recently, I completed End-of-Life Doula training with INELDA, improving my abilities to be present with the natural cycles of living and dying.
An intensive course on Permaculture, the beginnings of an herbal garden, and the endless entertainment and joy that our chickens provide keep me in constant relationship with nature and how the cycles of creation, destruction, and dormancy are necessary for a flourishing sustainable system. It’s a goal of mine to become more integrated with these cycles and not just the occasional waterer of the garden.
Curiosity and respect for the unquantifiable, the numinous, and the beauty of a universal organizing intelligence keeps me questing and delighting in possibility. It is a joy to express life in this way and to help out where I can. I am grateful for everything and everyone that encouraged me on this continuing path.

Testimonial: "One of our sons was dying of adrenal gland cancer. A few months passed and so did our dear boy. Shortly afterwards I lost my taste. The ENT specialist told me I was really fine - he thought I was depressed. Not like me at all. I was so fortunate to hear of Chris Zirbel. I spent 5 delightful - deep thinking sessions with Chris and getting my taste back was only one of the rewards of our sessions. ~ SP
